What road bikes do we have for rent?
We offer Trek émonda road carbon bikes, chosen for their good relationship between performance and reliability. We have bicycles in different sizes, to adapt them to the height of each client. Our road bikes have installed Shimano 105 2x11s groupsets with a comfortable speed ratio, suitable for all types of cycling profiles and all types of routes. Our mission is to keep our rental bikes in the best possible condition. To accomplish this task our mechanics check that each bike is 100% each time a customer rents it.
What does the road bike rental in Málaga include?
The rent includes a Trek émonda carbon road bike, and accessories: Pedals, helmet and a repair kit, all included in the price. Transportation is an optional service that is not included in the rental price.
Can I cancel my reserve or change dates?
You can cancel or change the pick up date of the reserve 48 hours before the date of reservation, equally we refund the full amount of reserve 48 hours before if you change your opinion.
What are the opening hours of Escapada Cycling?
Our establishment is open every day from Monday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., during the summer hours, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. in winter. The client can rent their road bike at any time during the opening hours.
What counts as a rental day?
The day of rental of the road bikes counts from the collection until 10:00 in the morning of the next day at the latest. If you are not sure if you can deliver the bicycle at 10:00 a.m. the next morning, it is recommended to return it before, on the same day, before closing 20:00 (summer) 19:00 (winter) in the evening. If the bicycle is delivered the next day at a later time than 10:00 in the morning, you may be required to pay one more day.
I need to rent the road bike for a day and I need it before 10:00 in the morning. What should I do to rent the bike before the opening and only count me one day's rent?
You can pick up your road bike the day before, before the closing 20:00 in the evening (summer) 19:00 in the evening (winter). This will count as one day if the bike is returned before the close of 8:00 pm (summer) 7:00 pm (winter) day later.
Can any part or accessory belonging to the customer be installed on the rented bike?
Only pedals, speedometers or gps devices can be installed. These must be installed by our staff or under their supervision. Mechanical handling of the rented bicycle is not allowed.
Is it necessary to leave a deposit to rent a road bike?
Escapada cycling requests a deposit as guarantee, which is deposited in our office in Malaga at the time of collection of the bicycle, or at the time of delivery in the case of delivery. It can be a personal document, or a deposit worth €150 cash or credit card (blocked). It will be returned in full once the bicycle has been delivered and verified that it is returned under the same conditions.
Do you offer road bicycles transport service?
We offer delivery and collection of road bikes in the province of Malaga and nearby provinces. We ship our road bikes to your hotel, apartment or lodging place. The prices of transport of the road bikes can be consulted in the following link.
