Our self-guided cycling tours combine the freedom of independent travel with full on-the-ground support. We organise everything behind the scenes – you simply enjoy the ride. From Málaga, we take you to Vías Verdes cycling routes – former railway lines now used as quiet, traffic-free paths for cycling and walking, offering a simple and enjoyable way to explore the Andalusian landscape.

We currently offer two Vías Verdes routes – among the most beautiful in the region – each with its own character and atmosphere. You choose the route, and we take care of the rest: transport to the start, bike setup, and pick-up at the end of your ride.

Via Verde de la Sierra

36 km from Olvera to Puerto Serrano

This beautiful cycling route follows former railway lines along riverbanks and through changing landscapes. As you ride, you pass through old stations, tunnels and bridges – quiet reminders of the railway that once ran here, now part of a landscape to be enjoyed at a slower pace, where traces of the past still remain.

One of the highlights is the Peñón de Zaframagón – a striking rock formation and protected habitat for one of Europe’s largest colonies of griffon vultures.

34 km from Luque to Lucena

The Vía Verde del Aceite follows a former railway line through open countryside and small valleys of inland Andalucía. The bike route runs across the agricultural heart of the region, where endless rows of olive trees form a pattern that defines this landscape.

Originally built to transport olive oil, the railway offers a view into a quieter, rural Andalucía – shaped by olive groves, traces of the past and views of white villages that link tradition with everyday life.

Difficulty

Vías Verdes routes are easy to ride and suitable for most levels, making them ideal for individuals, couples, families and small groups looking to explore Andalusia in a simple and relaxed way. With us, you can choose between comfortable trekking bikes and e-bikes (standard and open frame options, subject to availability), depending on how you want to experience the ride. We also offer a range of bikes for younger riders – e-bikes and standard bikes are available from approximately 14 years / 150 cm.
